Quad bike riding on Santorini.

Written 9th September 2012

After being my hairdresser Steve decided to give his facial hair a bit of attention and gave himself a mustache.

But then he did away with it. :)

We had salads again and then yummy pudding for dessert. Steve had brownie.

I had the best crepe of my life! Chocolate and strawberry with strawberry ice-cream. YUM!

We finished the day with a stroll on the beach and watching The Lion King. :)

The following day we shook our laziness off and hired a quad bike. We went exploring the island.

The views were spectacular.

We had a great time buzzing around checking things out. We headed up to the top of the island first.

Here's our map - another beauty...

Then we drove to the village of Fira.

It was so beautiful there. All glowing white buildings with bright blue trim matching all that glorious blue sea and sky.

We got a gyros for lunch and ate it on a wall overlooking the ocean.

Steve noticed there were heaps of gay guys there. We were trying to figure our why there were so many then realised one of the cruise ships must have been a gay cruise of something. :)

Next we headed to another village called Oia.

We drove down to the port and went for a swim in the clear turquoise water. Bliss.

You can see all the donkeys waiting to take stuff up the hill from the port.

I didn't want to get out again. We wanted to get a snorkel so we could have a closer look. Pity our eyes can't focus in the water.

We had fun jumping off this wharf thingie.

We drove back up the hill (our quad bike just made it!) and admired the views again.

Here's Steve!

And then a nice bloke took a picture of both of us.

We stopped off a few more places on the way home.
After we went to Red Beach I drove home.

Back at our beach we had a swim again. I was doing a hand stand and when I came back up this heart shaped rock was stuck in the band of my watch!

The sea must love me!

These are the things that we saw heaps of under the sea when we were diving.

We had another yummy dinner at Gods Garden Restaurant.

And some cake.

And some greek doughnuts.

We finally did our washing and decorated the front of the of our room.

And that was our last full day in Greece. Tomorrow the travel mission would begin!
