The last day in Australia.

On our last day in Australia we did a bit of shopping in the morning. Then after lunch we went to a local reserve and had a gawk at some kangaroos. They are so funny looking. They are like a combination of a rabbit and a deer. (And Steve thinks a rat.) They use their tail a lot to help them hop around the place. There were heaps in the long grass and they would pop up at random to see who the intruders were.

Isn't this one cute!

Next stop was Wet and Wild and I had a blast there! We went at 3 O' clock and so only had to pay half price and we had 2 hours of fun to be had. It was great cause there were no lines. My favorite was the Kamikaze. I went on heaps with both Dad and Steve. You sit in a tube like an 8 both facing each other and the person who is the lightest goes down backwards. It is like a free fall drop and then you go flying up the other side and back down another vertical drop and keep going until you loose speed and stop. It was exhilarating. The other rides were awesome too but that was definitely my favorite.

After that it was off to have a yummy tea at Auntie Ali's and Uncle Franks. Dad's cousin Sandy came too and her kids Jake and Christian. We all had such a fun night listening to Uncle Frank tell stories about when he was a bus conductor and the funny mischief he would get up to. It was a great end to our lovely time in Australia.

The next morning we left Dad's place at about 8am and Dad drove us up to Brisbane to the airport and we started our massive flight marathon. It was a bit sad saying goodbye to him cause we had such a good time with him.
