Paradise Valley.

Written 14th March 2012

On Monday we drove out to Paradise Valley to go swimming in the water holes. The road out was winding and narrow. As we drove up the valley we were grossed out by the amount of rubbish in the waterway. It seems that everywhere water flows or wind blows in Morocco rubbish will be coating the landscape. Once we got up there it was pretty cool though.

We hiked into the Valley (it's not too far – only about about a 30min walk.) We were wearing our trusty hiking jandals again. (Steve's now have worn through in the heals and mine are about to rip out at the toe.) There was nice scenery if you could ignore the build up of rubbish long enough to see it.

When we got to the first water hole there was so much rubbish there that we didn't want to swim. The decided to keep walking.

After about another 20mins of so we came to another waterhole which had a lot less people and which was clean.

The water was really nice and refreshing.

A.J. and Jeff jumped off a really high rock. It was freaky!

Steve and I jumped off a rock that was high enough. Jeff did too.

It was fun!

Then we walked back out and started the drive to Marrakech.

Bye!
