A Lake and a Ballet.

We had a lovely sleep-in and then relaxed in the morning for a little which just enjoying being in a house! If the afternoon we borrowed Lisa and Peter's bikes and rode to Mondsee. It is a really nice lake. (See means lake in German.) We really really enjoyed the ride. The countryside is so beautiful here. There are sunny green fields fringed by towering mountains. All the fields are scattered with wild flowers and the whole way we rode next to busy streams or trickling rivulets. It was really funny because my legs were too short for Lisa's bike (even with the seat as low as it could go!) so I had to tippy-toe pedal which must have looked a bit funny and also made me a bit wobbly!

I love it how the bikes have the thingies on the back so you can put stuff on them. And Peter's bike had a basket that you can attach.

We found our way there and then ate lunch next to the lake.

I was excited because on the way back we found some giant fluffy dandelions.

So of course I made another wish because you can't have too many wishes!

When we got back we all got ready and Lisa and Peter took us to the Ballet. (Peter's friend was the choreographer.) I was excited because I have never been before but Steve was a bit dubious. It was so cool. It was a ballet to The Beatles music and it was really fun. It was good for us too because of course all the words were in English so we could understand it. We were both impressed with the strength and skill of the dancers. The men were muscly as and the women lean and tiny. We were constantly amazed at the things they could do. We had a really nice evening and afterwards we had dinner with some of Lisa and Peter's friends who came too and it was really fun!
